Oh my gosh. This….this literally has some of the very best advice for big families I have seen since we started homeschooling during Covid and decided that for our house and our family that home education was going to be our best bet because we’re kinda unconventional a little weird and definitely do not follow the status quo. But you know (you definitely know) that we are on a forever search for the next better tip to make things run smoothly. well this is my holy grail of next best tips. Thank you SO MUCH! I can’t even put into words how valuable this is to my family and I. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In reply to Natalie Adams. We wear non matching socks-time saver!! Everyone helps to sort socks by owners, but we never match them! It’s up to the individual to match if they do desire. So far that’s my hubby and 14 year old . We all take turns loading and unloading the dishwasher 1-2 times a day but often leave the breakfast s asks lunch dishes piled up to be added to the dinner meal to save more time for learning. The teens take turns washing up after dinner. I love your 15 minute cleaning plan for daddy and guests, my hubby works from home so that won’t work for us . I tend to save decluttering for the summer months and put on horse blinders during the school year to get more learning done. Raising kids and homeschool is a season!

Thanks so much for all the practical tips. I have a 4 yr old 2 1/2 yr old and a 6 month old. (We hope to have more children through the years as well). We have been hoping to pursue homeschooling with them and sometimes I have wondered how the house work can continue to function in our home. You shared some great tips here.
