No, we don’t put our kids in public school. We stop doing formal school for a little while until we are ready to pick back up on our lessons. There is plenty of time throughout the year to get your school days in. The important thing is to make school fit around your family life. Family life first.

Personally, I think the home environment is better than public school in every stage of life. I had 4 kids 5 and under and we homeschooled. It wasn’t easy, but the kids did fine. Over the years, my kids have thrived in homeschooling even though we have had to slow down or take breaks at times because of having a baby that year. Home is such a wonderful place to grow and learn!

We are looking into homeschooling. We have a 7 year old, 5 year old, 2.5 year old, and 8 month old. All of them are still dependent. So should we stick with public school for now you think?
